About This Cohort
From community colleges to large publics, to small liberal arts, to elite privates, every corner of every university deserves a faithful witness.
Alongside students, staff, and faculty, your work as campus ministers is part of an ecosystem that forms and shapes not just future leaders, but the character and quality of communities, corporations, and the common good.
For those who have been serving and loving the people, ideas, and institutions of the university, we invite you to join with others to seek an innovative future for campus ministry. Whether you’ve been incubating or testing new approaches and paradigms, or you’ve been wanting space to imagine and explore with others, this Doctor of Ministry cohort is designed for you to pray over your work, reflect theologically on it, test new ideas, and celebrate what God is doing in your context.
This Doctor of Ministry track invites ministers in non-faith-based university contexts seeking practical and theological reflection as you innovate and/or lead in your organizations. You will identify, clarify, and bring your experience, expertise, and emphases into conversation with the educational mission of the university as an institution, especially the formation and development of students and faculty for their context and beyond. You will be encouraged to contribute to the life of your organization and to the work of university ministry by researching the ministry initiatives that lie within your sense of calling and context.
